Emigre CD that, rather than being put in a regual plastic jewel box is instead hosued in a recycled cardboard sleve that hingest at the top. All images and text are letterpress printed resulting in a very textured image where the ink is not entirely opaque. The cd slips inside had comes with a booklet.

The shape of the label fits very well with the squat jar. The color references not just that the salsas are different but rather *what* the salsa is made from. Lacks the feel of being ethnic but has a real rustic feel of spice and taste.

Clear hierarchy of brand and “image” in relationship to the detailed information below. Design scheme jumps/adapts to their entire range of products. Flat color and san-serif still feels very elegant.
